An interview with Boriz Charmatz, a French choreographer who conducted the Bocal project in collaboration with Association Edna between July 2003 and July 2004, is presented. Bocal is a nomadic and temporary school that aims to develop the idea of a contemporary dance school. Charmatz asserts that Bocal already existed before it was founded, and it still continues despite the closure of the project. He addresses the issue on the kind of education in the field of European dance.
