ABSTRACT
An interview with former U.S. Senator Paul Sarbanes is presented. He reveals that he considers the passage of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation as one of his greatest accomplishments. He says that SOX has significantly improved corporate practices and contributed to the restoration of investor confidence. He adds that although there had been lots of complaints about SOX, he still would not change anything about the legislation.
