The article presents an interview with Simon Thompson, European marketing director of Motorola. When asked about the focus of Motorola' future, Thompson said that the company would like to come up with new innovation such as an MP3 player that could make calls. On an inquiry regarding an aspect of mobile phone design or technology that Motorola can claim as its own, he stated that the company owns design and color in the market.
