ABSTRACT
This article presents an interview with Trina Shoemaker, the Grammy-winning sound engineer. When asked where she lived in New Orleans, she says that she lived in a two storied house in Gentilly locality, of New Orleans, where she spent about $75,000 to transform her garage into a sound recording studio. She states that her house and her studio were destroyed by hurricane Katrina after she had moved some of the equipment upstairs.
