ABSTRACT
This article presents an interview with various healthcare operators during the 2006 American Society of Healthcare Foodservice Administrators conference. Larry Altier explains that they do not necessarily hire more people when providing room service because they have varying degrees of room service that they provide to patient care based on the acuity and the specialty.
