ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Clarence Grady, foaming systems manager for Pierce Manufacturing regarding alternatives for using water in firefighting. He served as both career and volunteer firefighter before entering private industry in the early 1990s. He recommends the use of the Pro-pak foam reservoir with a built-in eductor that can be set to the ratio of the foam or wetting agents being used.
