ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Kevin Morgan of the School of City and Regional Planning at Cardiff University in Wales. He states the awakening of the British government to the potential of public procurement. He remarks on the struggle of the local government to catch up with experiments in relocalizing supply chains throughout Europe and North America. He expresses hope that politicians will recognize the benefits of public caterers using locally produced food.
