ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with president of Constellation Generation Group Michael J. Wallace. When asked about when Constellation Energy intends to apply for the Combined Operating License, he estimates that it will be as early as 2007 or 2008. Wallace stresses that they need additional base load generation, since new nuclear power plants are an important part of the mix of sources needed to provide base load capacity.
