The article presents an interview with Kerry Pettingill, director of the Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security in the U.S. When asked regarding the Oklahoma's regional emergency response system, he said that the state is better prepared to the natural disasters or terrorist attacks. He explained that as part of the team that formed the system in 2000, he was tasked with organizing the group that will be responsible for allocation of government funding and resources.
