The article presents a telephonic interview with a mathematician related to his research in the field of analytical geometry. The research is related to dihedral submonomorphoids defined over bilateral Bernoulli shifts. In the course of the interview the researcher explains that although factorization theories for laterally subcutaneous rungs have existed since the time of fibroid extensions, only recently the lifts to hyperextended lower centralized series have allowed a complete classification of Alexandroff polyhedra in the category of ramified idempotents.

In this paper, the Postnikov-Pyatetskii-Shapiro criterion, of normality is given a more modern form. We obtain its unimprovable analogs for finite Markov chains, continued fractions, and generalized Bernoulli shifts.

The embedding of the Bernoulli shift into the logistic map x → μx(1 − x) for μ > 4 is reinterpreted by the theory of anti-integrability: it is inherited from the anti-integrable limit μ → ∞.

  • A weighted bilateral shift with cyclic square is supercyclic.  // Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society;Dec2007, Vol. 39 Issue 6, p1029

It is shown, for a bounded weighted bilateral shift T acting on lp(Z), and for 1=p=2, that supercyclicity of T, weak supercyclicity of T, cyclicity of T? T and cyclicity of T2 are equivalent. A new sufficient condition for cyclicity of a weighted bilateral shift is proved, which implies, in...

We consider p-valued linear cellular automata (LCA) defined on d-dimensional discrete tori where p is prime. Iteration of an LCA rule increases its computational complexity in general, but minima appear at the iterations pk, k > 0. We define a transparent, rule-independent procedure that yields...

The free vibration of a flexible manipulator that is carrying a rigid payload at the tip is examined. The centre of mass of the payload may not coincide with the point of attachment to the manipulator. The manipulator is modelled as an Euler–Bernoulli beam and it undergoes both...

In the present paper, we study the s-algebra of pasts ? = {? n } n of a random walk T over the orbits of a Bernoulli action of the group Zd. We calculate the proper scaling and the scaling entropy of this sequence of partitions. We show that the proper scaling entropy of the s-algebra of pasts...

In this study we present some solutions to the problems encountered when a time series multiplicative model is linearized by taking the natural logarithm of the observed series. Problems associated with the trend-cycle component, with a view to achieving no alteration (if possible) to the...
