The article presents an interview with John Thomas, a former U.S. Navy aboard the battleship, Oklahoma which was torpedoed and sunk at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii but was salvaged in 1943. Thomas detailed on how he first entered the U.S. Navy in December 13, 1939. He also mentioned the types of jobs he did aboard Oklahoma. Thomas also recounted his experience while in Hawaii.
