ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview of Julian Cuppage, managing partner, Wedlake Bell. Cuppage said that his worst mistake as a trainee was to cope with a litigation matter without adequate assistance. On asking about his biggest work/career mistake, Cuppage said that he was overoptimistic and too trusting on a particular initiative. He have a tendency to be overoptimistic and has learnt to temper it. He also said that the combination of being a lawyer and running a business is the best thing about his job.
