This article presents an interview with Eric Lindstrom, director of store support services for Mac's Convenience Stores, the 504-store Midwest division of Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., based in Columbus, Indiana. In his role, Lindstrom oversees information systems, security and loss prevention, legal, licenses and permits, auditing and insurance matters. Lindstrom says that he enjoys turning wood on his lathe and making pens from a variety of exotic woods. He adds that he is a decent photographer. He says that he likes the book "Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion," by Robert B. Cialdini.
