On being asked about his entrance in the industry, he said that he used to be a wholesaler and bought a pine stripper's business who used to rent space from him. They made new furniture and repaired old furniture. They gradually started importing reproduction pine and that became more profitable so they went from there. He shut his wholesale business down and went into furniture retail. On his motivation factor he said that customer satisfaction motivates his creative talent.
