The article presents an interviews with Damon Phelps, director of operations for Jacksons Food Stores Inc. According to Phelps, his worst job was milking cows. He grew up on a dairy farm and although he learned a lot, it was a terrible job. When asked about a jaw-dropping thing which a colleague done, he told that when a manager was out of work for an extended period of time for medical reasons, several other managers donated their vacation time so that the recovering employee did not have to go without income. In 1996, Phelps graduated the top in his class from the Idaho Police Academy. Jacksons Food Stores Inc. is a 105-store chain based in Meridian, Idaho.
