November 2015
Ebony;Nov2015, Vol. 71 Issue 1, p36
An interview with Damon Young of the Very Smart Brothas is presented. He confesses that he has no idea on the seriousness of rapper Kanye West's announcement during a music industry event that he is running as U.S. president in 2020. When asked to clarify his view that West is impervious to prediction, Young draws a comparison between rappers Drake and West when releasing a music album. He also thinks that a presidential run for West is a ridiculous idea and so was Donald Trump's, years ago.
