ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview of Capital One Inc.'s IT director Jon Marchant who is responsible for training, budget, information security, risk management and strategy. Before this he worked in retail banking at Halifax and Scottish Widows, then came here as a project manager in 2000. He wasn't unhappy in his job, but he had achieved all he could and this was an opportunity to launch a new business.
