ABSTRACT
The article offers an overview of the business performance of the paper and products industry in the U.S. as of April 2005. It states that producers of paper and paper products have faced strong competition in the international markets. In 2004, revenues of the industry increased. This increase was attributed to three factors, namely, domestic manufacturing growth, healthy consumer spending behavior and job growth. It also shows the market performance of corrugated shipping containers.
