The gross operating profit (GOP) for the year 1996 is 48.3 billion dollars. GOP for the year 1997 is 54.6 billion dollars. GOP for the first quarter of 2002 was 51.5 billion dollars and for the second quarter of 2002 was 54.1 billion dollars. Input cost of materials and services in the first quarter of 2002 was 123.1 billion dollars and in the second quarter of 2002 was 125.9 billion dollars.
