ABSTRACT
The article presents statistical information on primary metal industry. Data relating to revenue, input costs, gross operating profit has been forecasted. Revenue and price forecasted for the first quarter in 2002 in billion dollars is 160.2. For the second quarter in 2002 is 163.7 for the third quarter is 167.1 and for the final quarter is 164.3. For each quarter in 2003 the revenue and price forecasted in billion dollars is 165.9, 162.0, 161.3 and 162.7 respectively. Input costs forecasted for the year 2003 in billion dollars is 96.4 for the first quarter, 98.4 for the second quarter , 100.3 for the third quarter and 98.6 for the fourth quarter. For the year 2003 the input costs forecasted for the four quarters are 499.4, 96.9, 96.4 and 97.2. The expected gross profit for the year 2002 and 2003 is 30.25 billion dollars and 32.725 billion dollars.
