ABSTRACT
The article presents statistical information on metal mining. Data relating to revenue, input costs, profit has been forecasted. Revenue and price forecasted for the first quarter in 2002 in billion dollars is 6.6. For the second quarter in 2002 is 6.9 for the third quarter is 6.7 and for the final quarter is 6.8. For each quarter in 2003 the revenue and price forecasted in billion dollars is 6.4, 6.4, 6.5 and 6.5 respectively. Input costs forecasted for the year 2003 in billion dollars is 3.8 for the first quarter, 4.0 for the second quarter , 4.0 for the third quarter and 4.1 for the fourth quarter. For the year 2003 the input costs forecasted for the four quarters are 4.0 3.9, 3.9, 3.9. The expected gross profit for the year 2002 and 2003 is 5 billion dollars and .5 billion dollars.
