ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the revenue earned and the gross operating profit made by tobacco product industries in the United States. Quarterly data being analysed covers the period 2002 to 2004. Data are presented in a tabulated manner and the annual data analysed also includes a forecast for the years extending from 2003 to 2007. The fields being analysed in the table includes revenue, industry price, input costs, gross profit, labor costs and gross operating profits. It is informed that the gross operating profit (GOP) for the year 2002 was 39.3 billion dollar and it is forecasted that GOP for the year 2007 will be 45.2 billion dollar.
