ABSTRACT
The article presents statistical information about the office and nonhousehold furniture industry in the U.S. Quarterly statistics are provided for the revenue and prices of the year 2001. Estimation is made for various quarters of years 2002 to 2004. Input costs are calculated which includes materials and services, and labor. Gross operating profit is calculated accordingly. Annual statistics are provided on revenue and price for years 1996 to 2000, and forecast is made for years 2002 to 2007. Annual gross operating profit is also calculated and estimated for the same period.
