ABSTRACT
The article presents statistics indicating the performance history and expected performance of printing, publishing and allied industries. The gross operating profit (GOP) for the year 1995 was 65.6 billion dollars. The GOP for the year 1996 was 69.9 billion dollars. GOP for the first quarter of 2002 was 73.0 billion dollars and the GOP for the second quarter of 2002 was 73.8 billion dollars. The GOP for the third quarter of 2002 was 74.1 billion dollars and the GOP for the fourth quarter of 2002 was 75.3 billion dollars. The GOP for the year 1997 was 73.1 billion dollars.
