ABSTRACT
An essay is presented on the interpretation of pantheism based on the life of Baruch Spinoza, a Portuguese Jew in Amsterdam. Spinoza has been excommunicated due to his beliefs. His heretic views has been associated to the philosophical interpretation of pantheism. The traits and characteristics of the beetle was used to explain pantheism.
