ABSTRACT
An essay is presented on climate change and the role of global North in combating the climate catastrophe. According to the author, global North contributes 70 per cent of the carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels. Thus, he stated that Great Britain and others from the global North owes a climate debt and emissions debt. Moreover, he argues that the global North help the South in meeting its energy needs without using fossil fuels through financing and providing them with technology.
