ABSTRACT
An essay is presented on the achievements and challenges of the Association of Arab-American University Graduates (AAUG). The development of the organization in response to the Arab-Israeli war in 1967 and it's growth during the 1970s and 1980s is discussed. It also examines the organization's decline beginning in the 1990s, focusing on its inability to adjust to changing circumstances in the U.S. and in the Middle East.
