ABSTRACT
This essay describes the author's same-sex relationship with a man seventeen years younger than him. The author describes physical differences between himself and his partner, including his partner's ability to climb a mountain and play basketball. He discusses his feelings on aging in general, including his thoughts on what will happen to the various items he has collected throughout his life. The author also comments on his previous lover, a man who was his lover for 33 years and died.
