This essay presents the author's experience of visiting a coffee shop. The author happened to visit the coffee shop Journal Square Deli. A lady came up to him and requested him to buy her an orange juice. He took out two dollar bills from his wallet and gave it to her. She however insisted the author to buy the juice for her giving some lame excuses. The author went ahead and bought her the juice. She drank the juice and has a small talk with the staff there before leaving the place. At another coffee shop Starbucks on the Gold Coast by the river, the author saw two white men having their conversation over a cup of coffee.
