ABSTRACT
The author focuses on the significance of global positioning systems (GPS) in geocaching, a worldwide avocation which involves hiding and finding small treasures. A GPS unit uses data from a satellite to home in on a geocache in different areas. The unwavering locating and decoding of geocaching is like finding a rubric for the universe. It was stated that these system appliances, with computers, waypoints, and precision military technology, can locate every treasure. A GPS creates maps for journeys.
