ABSTRACT
The article presents information on art medals in Great Britain. Medals was displayed at the Usher Gallery in Lincoln on February 16, 2013. ARTES, a society dedicated to raising the awareness and understanding of Iberian and Latin American visual culture, commissioned Phoebe Stannard to produce a medal for the Juan Facundo Riaño Hispanic essay prize. A medal was made to commemorate the centenary of the Antarctic expeditions of Norwegian Roald Amundsen and British Captain Scott.
