The authors reflect on the commitment of the journal to remain open to the scientific community and to debate of the subjects and academic practices. They indicate that the journal's collection of articles were first presented at the seminar "Resistance and Normalization: Uses of the Past and Cultural Discourses in Contemporary Catalonia."The seminar was part of a project developed by the (UOC) research group Language, Culture and Identity in the Global Age.
