ABSTRACT
Opinion. Looks at several Afro-American actors that have given performances that are deserving of Oscar nominations in 1996. Some of the actors being Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston, Will Smith, Samuel L. Jackson, Delroy Lindo, James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, Lynn Whitfield, Whoopi Goldberg, Ossie Davis, Eddie Murphy, Phylicia Rashad, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Regina King.
