ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the medical services and expenses procedure in Singapore. The author informs that the people in Singapore have a designated medical savings account in which they have to contribute a portion of their income for their medical expenses. These expenses cover both inpatient and outpatient care. The government provides subsidies for hospitals to enable through medical coverage. This model is the basis for author William Haseltine for his book "Affordable Excellence".
