The author reflects on the changing healthcare approach where basic principles seem to have been lost. He is critical of the television advertisements that use the first 15 seconds to boast what a medication helps with the rest listing the adverse side effects done in a monotone voice. He points out that doctors have the obligation to answer all questions their patients may have. It points that doctors must explain to their patients that medicine can save life but can never make them healthy.
