ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses how managers can improve their self-esteem by using management expert Ken Blanchard's HELP model. The "H" in HELP stands for humility. Authors Blanchard and Norman Vincent Peale say that people with humility don't think less of themselves, they just think of themselves less. The "E" in HELP stands for excellence; the "L" stands for listening; and the "P" stands for praising.
