ABSTRACT
This article presents a perspectives about the crisis in the labor history. The roots of this crisis in the labor history were enumerated by the author. According to the author that the labor history is on the defensive stance within the narrower framework of academic institutions. Further more, the labor history has been characterized as institutionally based, Eurocentric, prioritizing the experiences of male workers. And finally, the response to the crisis in labor history were detailed by the author.
