ABSTRACT
The article discusses developments in the journal "Labour History Review." The journal started as a foolscap typed sheet thirty six years ago. It circulated in an underground way. It was never indented as a journal, but more of a tool of the trade. Any financial problems encountered by the journal were due to lapses in effort of running a learned society on voluntary effort and administering the subscription list properly. The appearance of the publication continued to improve following the 25th anniversary of the Society. Its contents were focusing on the general activity and confidence of people working in the subject. Lastly, there is a change in editorial arrangements. An editorial advisory board is created as a conduit for potential contributors and a visible sign of referees.
