ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the status of the insurance industry in Asia as investment income rebounds. He mentions the success of the East Asian Insurance Congress (EAIC) Congress that took place in Bali, Indonesia wherein 12 member cities gathered for the said event. The author also stresses the need to adopt a strict and professional approach to paying claims that may further boost efficiency and profitability of the insurance industry.
