ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the initiative of the members of the Stormwater Equipment Manufacturers Association (SWEMA) in plotting a course for the organization in the U.S. He says that agreement exists on its key function to interact with government and regulatory agencies on stormwater issues. He emphasizes that there are too many jurisdictions for the SWEMA to regularly engage them all. He stresses that benefits on the creation of the Government and Regulatory Affairs Committee on the SWEMA.
