ABSTRACT
The article discusses various reports published within the issue, including one by J. D. Kilkenny on aspects of the evolution of the U.S. Inertial Confinement Fusion (ICF) Program at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL), one by X. T. He and colleagues on the latest advances in inertial fusion physics and drivers in China, and one by C. Labaune and colleagues presenting results of some recent stimulated Brillouin scattering experiments.
