ABSTRACT
The article reflects on the challenges faced by comparative effectiveness research (CER) in medical journals. It emphasizes the need for medical journal to apply more accurate approaches to evaluate the limitations of CER including unmeasured bias, incomplete follow-up, and missing data. It explains the scope and principles of CER in medicine. In addition, it also elaborates the role of CER in health-related studies.
