ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the problems encountered in handling pictures or drawings shipped for exhibitions. He claims that both the artist and the art society that the artwork is being sent should be held responsible for the proper handling of the shipment. He also cites that the committees that are handling the artworks could be less careful due to the large volume of paintings that they are handling and that accidents can happen.
