ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the decision of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AMSBiH) to name "Medicinski Archiv" (Medical Archives) as the official periodical of the organization. It cites the efforts of the Editorial Board to ensure the continuation of its membership in the biomedical database MEDLINE. The Main Board of the AMSBiH is also the Editorial Board of the periodical. Also mentioned is the decision of AMSBiH to publish the periodical in English only to help the notion that it will be included in other biomedical databases.
