ABSTRACT
The author defines the essence of authentic leadership through a notion of simplicity on the far side of complexity. He outlines his formulas of best practice in leadership development which incorporate Jack Welch's 4 Es of leadership, and Mick Yates' own 4 Es. He encourages to have the monthly study of "Leadership Excellence," "Personal Excellence," and "Sales and Service Excellence." He believes that a monthly study of these magazines can have tremendous impact on leadership effectiveness.
