ABSTRACT
The author comments on the budget crisis facing the state of California. He outlines the solution proposed by Grant Hallstrom, author of "Emotional Black Holes," to resolve the budget crisis facing the state in his article entitled "Tough Love Needed in California." He relates the measures introduced by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to address the budget deficit of the state. He agrees with the claim of Hallstrom and Schwarzenegger that the state can do what needs to be done to bring the state back to the path of prosperity.
