The article offers the author's comments on the article "Amalgams and Sealants - A Treatment Planning Guide for Practitioners" that was published in "Journal of the Colorado Dental Association." He says that publishing such opinions is of questionable benefit to modern dentistry. He opines that the article unjustifiably points a finger at dental hygienists and dental products manufacturers and extols the virtues of prophylactic odontotomy that should have been extinct by now.
