ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the Internet recording studio technology launched by the Rocket Network. She explores the tremendous opportunities in web-based productions such as remote auditioning and approving mixes to audio manipulation that were once impossible. She suggests that internet is great for communication but there would never be a substitute for the collaborative spirit of live music performances.
