The author reflects on the tendency of executives to be the victims of their own success. He notes that 25% of executives he coached have disorders, imbalances and became self-destructive because they were not satisfied or at ease with their success. He adds that narcissism, grandiosity, hubris and entitlement that may put executives to success also cause failure. He believes that success breeds failure because executives are not content with results and rewards and their stay-hungry mentality instead of making the business stay happy.
