ABSTRACT
The author reflects on an article about civil discourse at the Catholic Church by Timothy Radcliffe published in the periodical "National Catholic Reporter." Radcliffe said that the Kingdom Catholics and Communion Catholics have lost a sense of home in their church which he called root shock. He believes that healing comes when both Kingdom and Communion Catholics look at, recognize and validate the views of the other because all of them are fellow seekers. He adds that humor can help promote civil discourse among Kingdom and Communion Catholics.
